Lemon dusters

I’m not the biggest fan of dusting, but since I discovered lemon dusters they have made the job much more enjoyable. What you need to do is take a couple of cloths – I used old sheets, ripped up – and put them in a bowl.

Cover cloths in a solution that’s half white vinegar and half water, with a few drops of lemon oil. Soak for a few minutes, then squeeze cloths out so they’re still damp. Get some lemons and peel the rind off them.

Spread the rind out on the damp dusters, then roll them up. Fold the cloths tightly and put them in an airtight jar with some more lemon peel. Screw up the lid and store dusters until you need them. Your furniture will love these dusters and the air will smell gorgeous in whatever room you use them in.
