Dear Wendyl,
I was so pleased to see you’re including some of your natural cleaning recipes on this page. Can I put in a request? I really dislike using floor cleaners that leave streaks and smell like disinfectant. Do you have an alternative I could use?

Dear Sarah,
I can’t guarantee this won’t streak as I use it on my floorboards and it’s hard to tell, but it’s a nice simple one and well worth a go. To four litres of hot water, add a squirt of Sunlight detergent and a teacup-full of white vinegar. Use it on all floors, including wooden ones, but make sure the mop is wrung out and barely damp. You can also add a few drops of lavender or any other essential oil to leave a nice fragrance.
