All about Donna Fleming

Donna Fleming has been a journalist for more than 25 years, during which time she has developed a special interest in health matters. She works from home where she spends many hours engrossed in information on everything from heart disease to haemorrhoids. Her husband refuses to watch medical TV dramas like House or ER with her because she often ruins the plot by diagnosing the illnesses early on.

When she’s not writing about incontinence or irritable bowels, she enjoys hanging out with her lively seven-year-old, researching her family tree and reliving her youth by listening to her extensive collection of 80s music

Over the Teacups

While out walking with our fouryear- old granddaughter, she became grizzly and irritated so my husband decided
to lift her onto his shoulders to carry her. Having only taken a few steps, she said to me, “Nana, Papa has got paint in his hair.” I looked up and realised she was talking about his new white strands coming through. Kids – you’ve got to love them.
